Tara and Kenton Glacier Park Anniversary Session

September 20, 2017

Where do I even start? It has been a beautifully crazy wedding season, and I have not taken the time to blog much this summer, but I had to for this one. This session was a dream come true and I would not have had it any other way even though it was not what we originally planned on. My beautiful Montana has been on fireand we are just now starting to breathe fresh air again.

Tara contacted me a few months ago, and we have been planning this ever since. Tara and her husband Kenton came all the way from South Carolina to celebrate their second wedding anniversary.  She wanted mountains and the lakes and I was bursting with ideas, but the smoke had other plans. On this particular day, the smoke was at its worst. You could barely see anything.  Part of the Going to the Sun Road had been shut down due to wildfire activity. I totally smelled like a campfire when I got home!

I love this quiet little spot, and I was so happy they were so brave and willing to give it a go. Her dress could not have been more perfect with this stunning setting. Everything was so dreamy and romantic. We finished the evening at Apgar, and I was so blown away at how thick the smoke was, you really could not see anything. I felt like the focus was more on Tara and Kenton and the beautiful love they have together, and It was beyond perfect.
