Moody and Stormy engagement in the mountains

Adventure Session, Engagements + Couples

Glacier National Park Fall Engagement | José and Katie

April 19, 2019

Every season here in Montana has its own beauty, but nothing hardly compares to Fall in Glacier National Park. I could sit for hours in one place just taking all of the colors and beauty in… my heart is longing for a moment like this right now. When Katie contacted me about her session, I was so excited to give them a fun and gorgeous opportunity in the mountains. It was really important to give them epic mountain views and diverse locations, and I think that it really could not have been more perfect for them. I mean from Gerorgia to this,  I think its safe to say they fell in love. Adventures are the best with two people in love, especially with Katie and José.

We met in West Glacier, and drove to East Glacier to start at one of my favorite spots. If I could say anything, don’t be intimidated by a little rain for your session. There is something so captivating about the wildness of the weather. It was cold, windy, and hints of rain. But when that sun shined through those storm stricken clouds, it was like heaven was peeking through. We started off with sweeping mountain views over looking Two Medicine in Glacier National Park. Next was Two Medicine Lake where they danced on the dock in the rain and the wind was blowing. Finally, we did the short little hike to Running Eagle Falls. I fall more and more in love with my home the more I get to explore. I feel pretty lucky to take amazing couples and explore with them. If you are on the fence about when to have your engagement session, I think Fall and cloudy days just might be a good fit!

Wondering where her dress was from? Katie had the cutest dresses from one of my favorite shops Piper and Scoot

Enjoy the amazing photos of these babes!!
